GRW Pirosmani 2022 Georgian Royal

To create the red semi-dry wine GRW Pirosmani, producer used own vineyard grapes in Kakheti. The classic Georgian Pirosmani variety is made exclusively from the autochthonous red Saperavi grape, which was harvested at the peak of ripeness in early September. The juice was squeezed from the berries separated from the branches and placed in steel vats for fermentation at a constant temperature of 23-28 degrees. After 10 days, the must was removed from the sediment, after which the process of malolactic fermentation began. Part of the wine was aged in stainless steel tanks, part in French oak barrels. In the end, a blend of 11.5% strength was made, which was poured into dark glass bottles.

Color: garnet-ruby.
Aroma: expressive, enveloping, with bright fruit and berry accents.
Taste: deep, rich, with a pleasant tartness and sourness, shades of blackberry, plum, cherry and raspberry.
Gastronomic combinations: hard and semi-hard cheeses, various meat dishes of Caucasian cuisine.
Serving temperature: 16-18 degrees.
